PowerPoint is an application used as a support in presentations as it allows you to project slides that can be played on a traditional projector. It also allows the development of static or interactive pieces to be viewed on a computer.

Although PowerPoint is an excellent assistant to carry out our work, it is not a specific UX/UI Design software and we cannot ask it for the functionalities of more advanced tools.

One of the best ways to achieve high-quality pieces in PowerPoint, is to design the slide backgrounds in external programs with greater flexibility when working with nodes, vectors, and masks.

The elements incorporated in the background remain in a static layer, which allows users with basic knowledge of PowerPoint to edit the contents located in the upper layers without "breaking" the original design.

When we ask a professional to design a PowerPoint presentation, we must bear in mind that it is possible to obtain wonderful results on an aesthetic level but that the editable content will be limited.
